On an island lost between two worlds, Dai, a young Chinese woman, survives alone in a cave while waiting for the child who is rounding out her belly a little more each day. In the port, which is agitated every day by the arrival of hundreds of migrants, she tirelessly searches for the face of the man she loves, her husband. One evening, while the island is rumbling, Dai’s wish may be granted…
